Family photographer in Paris, specializing in documentary-style photography

I photograph families in their homes, just as they are. Breakfasts spilling over the table, cuddles on the couch, laughter in the bath, and the light streaming in through the window in the late afternoon. As a family photographer in Paris since 2017, based in Montmartre, I capture your everyday life in pictures so that your children can one day revisit the home of their childhood.

A documentary-style family photo shoot

My approach is documentary-style. I let you go about your day, and I photograph whatever happens, without staged poses. You play, you cook, you read a story—and I stay in the background. I work exclusively with natural light—the light in your living room, your kitchen, or the kids’ bedroom.

During the session, the children set the pace. If your baby cries, there’s time to comfort him or her, and if he or she is hungry, he or she eats. The most touching photos often come from moments like these.

Why take family photos at home?

Everyone feels at home in your house, and it shows in the photos. The kids have their toys, their routines, and their hiding spots. In a few years, you’ll look at these pictures and recognize the details of your home: the favorite stuffed animal, the wallpaper in the bedroom, the table where you used to have snacks. Every object in your home has a story, and it’s part of yours.

How does your family photo shoot in Paris go?

Before the session, we’ll talk about your family, your daily routines, and what you’d like to remember. On the big day, I’ll come to your home, and you’ll go about your day as usual. I offer two options: a 1.5-hour session, or a 3-hour photo story that captures your entire day, from breakfast to your evening routine. I’ll then send you your curated and retouched photos, along with a few behind-the-scenes shots from the session.
