FAQ from Your Wedding Photographer

When should I book my wedding photographer?

It’s important to book your wedding photographer in Paris as early as possible, especially if you’re getting married on a weekend. Dates fill up quickly. However, some dates do remain available, and I’ve even booked a wedding just three days in advance! Don’t hesitate to contact me—I always respond. Wedding photographers in Paris can sometimes be booked up to two years in advance, so don’t wait to express your interest in a date.

Do you make house calls?

I’m a wedding photographer based in Paris, but I’m happy to travel throughout France for weddings. I often photograph weddings in Brittany, the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, or Normandy. My only limitation is accessibility; if I have to fly, I won’t be able to photograph your wedding but will recommend wonderful local colleagues. I’m willing to take long train rides for your big day.

What if you're not available?

If I'm not available, I'll put you in touch with a wedding photographer in Paris whose style matches mine!

When will we receive the wedding photos?

You will receive a link to your wedding gallery within 6 weeks of the wedding.

How many wedding photos do we receive?

There’s no limit to the number of photos from your wedding! You’ll receive a gallery featuring the most beautiful photos from your wedding. The idea is to tell the story of your day, your love, and the life you’re building together. So I do my best to ensure the gallery flows seamlessly.

Will the wedding photos be in color or black and white?

Both, Captain. I have a real fondness for black and white, so I always offer a wedding gallery that includes both styles. Please note that the black-and-white photos aren’t simply copies of the color photos; rather, they’re photos I’ve chosen to process this way because I want to highlight an expression or a detail that doesn’t come through in color.

Do the packages include a photo book?

All my packages include a 50-page photo book (except for the civil wedding package). If you’d like to add more, that’s absolutely possible. You can either let me know before the wedding or decide afterward. It’s very important to me that you print your wedding photos and keep a physical memento of this special moment. Once you’ve made your purchase, all you’ll need to do is select the number of photos you want, and I’ll take care of the rest.

What are the rates for a wedding photographer, and how do I pay?

I’ll arrange the payment details when I contact you after the contract is signed. I ask for a 30% deposit upon signing the contract, with the balance due before or after the wedding (before you receive the photo gallery). I don’t want any payments on the big day—it’s your wedding, so you shouldn’t have to worry about that sort of thing. You can find my wedding photography rates directly on the pricing page. Custom packages can certainly be created to ensure your wedding photos perfectly reflect who you are.

Should I sign a contract with my wedding photographer?

To protect both you and me, I’ve drawn up a contract that needs to be signed to secure your wedding date. This contract binds me to you and protects you in the event that I fail to deliver the photos or, for example, forget about your wedding. It protects me if you cancel the day before or if you forget to pay me. It outlines the cancellation and refund policies, etc. … Please make sure it includes everything we agreed upon in the quote. And if your photographer doesn’t offer you a contract, don’t hesitate to ask for one.
