My wedding photographer is in Paris

but my wedding is in Brittany.

You’re getting married soon and are looking fora wedding photographer whose style matches the memories you want to cherish from your wedding. Do you think you’ve found the perfect match, but they’re not in the area where your wedding will take place?

Don't panic—it's no big deal!

Invite the photographer

  1. As a wedding photographer in Paris, you should know that I only shoot 10% of my weddings in Paris, and there are several reasons for this. First, because it’s quite difficult to find the ideal venue in Paris for a wedding with more than 50 guests. Venues are often quite small, and if they aren’t, the cost can quickly become exorbitant. It’s difficult to find a versatile venue that can accommodate the ceremony, reception, and dinner. Second, because many couples decide to gather their loved ones in one of their family regions. In short, I don’t photograph many weddings in Paris. However, as part of an eco-friendly approach, I’ve decided to apply a few guidelines that will help you determine whether I can travel to your wedding:

    • I need to be able to get there by train or car (within a reasonable distance from Paris, and carpooling would be great too)

    • I don’t fly to weddings unless it’s an exceptional case. If that’s the case, I try to schedule as many photo sessions as possible while I’m there (family sessions, etc.), and in that case, I’ll ask for your help in spreading the word about my visit.

Is a wedding photographer in Paris expensive?

Move a wedding photographer from Paris obviously comes at a certain cost. When I come to your wedding, please keep in mind that I’m traveling from Paris and may charge you for certain additional expenses:

  • If I drive to your wedding from Paris: the mileage rate is based on URSSAF rates, which you can easily find online.

  • If I'm coming by train:

    - a round-trip ticket

    - a rental car if no one can pick me up at the station and drive me around during the wedding

  • Accommodations: If your wedding is more than 1.5 hours from Paris, I usually ask to stay overnight the night before and the night of your wedding to ensure I’m there on the big day.

Ask the photographer for advice

The world of wedding photography is a close-knit community where we draw inspiration from one another and communicate frequently. If your wedding photographer in Paris can’t make it to your wedding, don’t hesitate to ask them for recommendations. I’m always happy to give you the contact information for talented colleagues whose style is somewhat similar to mine. Of course, you won’t get exactly the same thing—every photographer has their own style—but if you ask me for a recommendation, I’ll give you the contact information for a very natural photographer who takes pleasure in capturing those special moments

So if you’re looking for a wedding photographer , please don’t hesitate to contact me!
